 Need a Lift? is a book published by The American Legion annually defining educational opportunities and listing sources for career information, detailed facts on student's loans and scholarships. This book, now in its 47th revision, is an attempt to emphasize the opportunities available to children of deceased and disabled veterans. However, The American Legion's goal is to interest and assist all students to further their education as far as possible.
