DEPARTMENT COMMANDER William H. Burnett
Bill was born on March 13, 1944, in Norristown, PA, and
grew up in Bridgeport, PA. He moved to Lockport, NY in 1971, where he
raised his daughter Kelly Burnett MacDonell, and son Scott Burnett.
Bill is now retired member of the Local 237 International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers, Niagara Falls, NY. He is also a member of Newfane
Lodge 947 F&AM.
A four year veteran of the United States Air Force, Bill
enlisted at Philadelphia, PA on December 30, 1064. His duty assignments
included the 763rd Radar Squadron in Lockport, NY and Det. 8, 621st Tactical
Control Squadron (PACAF) at Phitsanulock, Thailand. He attained the rank of
Sergeant.
Bill is a 32 year member of the B. Leo Dolan Post 410 in
Lockport.
