Thirty cities will be formed at Boys' State. Each City will consist of thirty six delegates and be divided into ten counties. A counselor will be assigned to each county and city. A marine assistant will also be assigned to each county. It will be their duty to assist the delegates and guide them in their daily activities.

Who are Boys' State Counselors?

The Boys' State Counseling staff is comprised of government officials, college professors, high school teachers, former Boys' State members and members of The American Legion, many of whom have been with the program for a number of years.

What kind of activities will be provided for participants?

In addition to their government work, participants can swim, join baseball games, basketball and tennis tournaments will also be held. Boys who paly instuments are encouraged to join the band. Past Boys' State bands have consisted of approximately 100 pieces. There is multimedia with a newspaper, website, powerpoint and a possible radio or television station. You can join the State police force or take the bar exam.
